捶心肝的素描畫！
一般我們想到的素描多半是利用不同深淺度的鉛筆來繪製風景以及人物，技巧高超也有著不同風格，有些人是寫實派，要將眼睛看到的景物完整呈現在畫紙上；而也有些人是浪漫派，喜歡把真實的東西製作成想像中的空間事物。
這幾幅圖第一次看到時也許會認為是利用攝影機拍攝人物後，再利用電腦後製的方式來完成。不過這可不是電腦繪圖的作品，是使用手工一筆一筆繪畫出來的。西班牙藝術家Juan Francisco Casas Ruiz（很長的名字…）單單只用「滾珠藍筆」就畫出這麼徐徐如生的人物素描。任憑人怎麼左看右看就是看不出一點破綻是使用藍筆來繪畫的。
而且這些人物素描的高度都超過300公分高，如此巨大的作品還能用藍筆來繪畫出細膩的人物表情，Juan Francisco Casas Ruiz的高超技巧可見一斑。

恆頤盛軼聞錄：請珍惜台灣製造
有些客人問我們"你們真的都是台灣製造嗎?"
"台灣製造又有什麼?"
其實，說穿了，台灣製造就是操著台灣國語不捲舌的師傅，
用已經走過台灣錢淹腳目風光時代的微皺手掌，
堅持一邊燙布一邊注意車線的踩著針車，
不甩尾也不踩剎車，
用"高級訂製服"的方法去製作衣服，
這樣的確是沒有什麼了不起，
在20年前是這樣沒錯，
但只要再過10年，這些堅持手工的師傅慢慢的眼睛花了，
拿著零用錢的大學生長大了，
放眼望去全部都是大陸製造了(因為沒有人傳承這些技術)，
那個時候，
我們才會知道，
這個年代，
還買的到台灣製造的高級車工的時代，
有多麼美麗!
如果你不相信，
請看看你的周遭環境，
有幾個七年級的人會用針車做西裝(車束口袋不算)
有幾個六年級的人會分辨葫蘆扣孔和打鼻的針數?
有幾個五年級的人會獨自完成一件衣服而不是只會車袖子?
有幾個四年級的人還在家裡熨斗一件一件的平整著高級訂製服?
時代已經變遷了，
珍惜是一種應該被學習的態度!

如何在一堆設計製造品中分辨好壞，

恆頤盛軼聞錄：其實台灣不只做不出百萬銷量的iOS遊戲
好友分享了一則相當意義的文章，來自於猴子靈藥 [Monkey Potion]，http://blog.monkeypotion.net，主題是他對台灣遊戲業的一些看法，他將演講以簡報檔的形式供免費下載，內容一針見血，其實同樣的情況，不僅發生在遊戲界，也發生在台灣所有產業，但是或許因為簡報檔以英文撰寫，所以下載人次僅2000多人，相當可惜，在此就摘譯一下重點內容，也希望大家能連到原作者的原文網址去看看

主題：為何台灣開發者沒辦法寫出付費下載數達百萬次的iOS平台（iPhone、iPod Touch、iPad）遊戲應用程式？
原作者首先解題，為何要討論台灣，因為台灣是他所生、所長、所愛的地方；而為何討論的是遊戲，因為那是他的熱情所在，也是他的終身志向。
為何討論的是iOS平台呢？雖然現在有Android等其他平台，不過目前手持裝置應用的主要市場還是以iOS為大宗，此外這也是原作者的專長。
那為何以一百萬這個數字為目標呢？一般來說，歐美市場往往以百萬為一個指標，所以百萬是一個重要的指標性數字，也就是說是一個產品成功與否的里程碑，當然也代表其他好處，經原作者簡單的試算，一百萬次定價0.99美元的付費下載，將可以為開發者帶來約新台幣2000萬元的收入，這是一筆可觀的收入，可以讓開發者過很好的生活，開除自己的老闆，成為創業的開端，享受自由、快樂的新生活。
不過，在此原作者不打算講任何有關開發的技術與方向之類的事，他只想提一些觀念。接下來他提到了許多台灣人必然失敗的原因，雖然我不是程式界的人，但是看了還是心有戚戚焉。
首先是「華文市場」迷思，原作者指出全球有超過1億的iOS平台使用者，但是台灣的開發者卻只想開發所謂的「華文市場」，而在台灣只有30萬個使用者，還是高估的數字，因為台灣的使用者裡頭，有多少是玩遊戲的，又有多少願意付費買遊戲(而不是把iPhone拿去改機下載一堆破解遊戲免費玩)，當了解這個問題以後，就知道畫地自限只想開發「華文市場」是找死的行為。
另一個問題是，台灣的開發者頭上的老闆，都想保證成功，要他們提出一定能獲利的計畫，然後還要用KPI(關鍵績效指標)來審查他們，問題在於，事實上，在遊戲界沒有一個成功方程式(在任何產業也都是如此，過去的成功不代表複製了會一樣成功)。
通常在這樣的想法下，老闆就會叫開發者找很賣的遊戲，然後做一個一模一樣的，或同類型的，原作者說，一味追趕潮流只會讓你溺斃。這是至理明言，如果市場上已經有一個很成功的產品，你去做一個B拷，消費者會去買原本的，還是你的b拷？想也知道。
接下來的問題是，很多開發者研究了成功的遊戲，如「憤怒鳥(Angry Birds)」以後，覺得這些都是簡單到不行的遊戲，殊不知越簡單的遊戲其實越難做得好，「魔鬼就隱藏在細節之中」，而能掌握這些細節的專家非常昂貴。
但不曉得這些細節何在的公司就會採取「亂槍打鳥」策略，推出一拖拉庫的遊戲，以為這樣其中就會有一款紅，但原作提醒：這樣的「樂透」迷思是不管用的。而為了「亂槍打鳥」，公司又會採取壓低成本的方案，也就是用更少人在更短的時間內做出一款遊戲，結果呢？作者說，不切實際的計畫只會導致悲慘的失敗。
「亂槍打鳥」式的作風更導致許多公司遊戲推出後，試了兩下就放棄，然後就忘了這回事改推下一款，殊不知一款成功的遊戲也是需要以持續性的熱情來推廣，否則做再好也推不出去，用試水溫的方式推遊戲，結果就是款款都死。
於是，為了避免失敗，就打起了安全牌，推一些麻將、撲克牌、桌遊類遊戲，是沒錯，做這些遊戲或許餓不著，但也不會賺大錢。
最後，許多公司看準「魔獸」系列開發商暴風雪(Blizzard)做啥就跟著做啥，是沒錯，人人都愛暴風雪，每家公司都想變成暴風雪和Farmvilli開發生Zynga，但是卻不會做小遊戲。
以上就是原作者認為台灣開發商必敗的原因。
其實台灣豈止是遊戲界如此，出版界不也是如此嗎？一窩蜂的出書方式排擠了長期讀者真正想要的書，亂槍打鳥的思維使圖書品質一直在下降，試水溫式的出書讓每本書的行銷曝光都不足，最後打起安全牌，專出一些有固定銷售量的書種，多元讀者找不到自己想要的書，於是讀者大量流失，最後出版市場大萎縮，作法自斃。
其他領域，類似的事不也一直在發生？
這實在是一篇發人深省的講稿。
最後，原作者提出一個挑戰，如果有人開發出下載數破百萬的iOS平台遊戲，無論是付費或免費遊戲，他就要請他吃一客台塑牛排，有效期限是到蘋果破產為止。

這才是理想的玩具！
極速 18 英哩 / 小時( 約 30 公里 / 小時 )，續航力 15 英哩( 約 24 公里 )，充電時間兩小時。喔，不，我們並不是在介紹未來的交通載具，而是在介紹玩具，由 Audi ( 奧迪 )為大朋友們所設計的玩具。這部以 1930 後期 Grand Prix 大賽中獲得十場勝利的 Auto Union Type C 造型重製，尺吋縮小一半並改用電動引擎的 e-tron 電動玩具車，目前正在德國紐倫堡國際玩具展覽會中展出。雖然車身尺吋縮小了一半，不過只要身高不要超過 180 公分，還是有機會塞進駕駛座親自感受一下冠軍車種的魅力。
目前奧迪並沒有明確的量產計畫，售價也是個謎。唯一可以知道的是這部玩具車的車身採用鋁和碳纖維材質，並且以純手工打造，因此...千萬別認為這玩具的售價也會那麼老少咸宜唷。
